The overall condition of both items is quite nice and does show honest wear and use

especially during World War II

We can find no signs of it having been ever used on a vehicle

and the finish is rudimentary

though they are somewhat deformed and oxidized

This is a tremendous & scarce uniform set worn by a Capitaine of the Colonial Field Artillery as indicated by the buttons which bear an anchor over crossed cannons. This uniform is completely correct, with the colonial shoulder boards only bearing fringe on one side, which was regulation. The set comes with its original Kepi bearing a crescent moon under a 2, possibly referring to the 2nd Colonial Field Artillery
